THE SLUMCODE RESOURCE AND YOUTH FRIENDLY CENTRE: Situated in Huruma off juja road very close to the Redeemed Gospel Church and behind Lions Clinic, we have been serving this community since December 2010 when the new centre was opened. The Slumcode Resource and Youth Friendly Centre aims to be a ONE STOP point for users to access information and share ideas with the World. This facility will create employment in both he short and long term and directly and indirectly

Level 1 – book library and journal stores, Information Education and Communication from all relevant organizations and partners for development will be available to students, reading enthusiasts and researchers. A showcase centre to display innovative works with intention to create Marketing and linkages for young people.

Level 2 – An Information & Communication Technology – ICT system for training and using the Internet to promote computer literacy, online studies, research and social development. A meetings and Workshops room furnished for modern training and learning with white boards and projector.

Level 3 – A media centre where news can be collected, edited and released. Staff here will be in charge of all dissemination of newsletters and digital information. Community reporters will engage the public and feed the central office with occurrences and happenings. This process should build from a print newsletter to a radio FM station and finally a Television channel.
