The Slumcode Group is a youth serving Social Enterprise organization with programs that focus on entrepreneurship, leadership and education to help our beneficiaries identify and exploit their talents and passions and build concepts to monetize them. We support Self Development for budding entrepreneurs, from the less privileged communities East Side of Nairobi. We champion a participatory community driven development approach and model.
Founded in the year 2006 by Albert Nashon – born in Jericho and and raised in Huruma Neighborhoods).
Our success has been based on partnerships we acquire to leverage on opportunities, programs and projects that increase the capacity of our target communities – Children, Youth and Women.

WiFED : Women Initiative For Empowerment and Development (Girl Child and Women support)
Slumidia : Engaging creatives in Media (Video, Photography, Publications, Radio, TV training)
Slumcafe : A School of languages (For training in local and international languages)
Codespace : Our developing Information, Communication Technology training initiative
VioSLUM : Office space on hire, co working sheds and secretarial services for guests and young professionals
Kituo : Catering and Hospitality services for our clients and users both local and International
Slumfest : An annual community mobilization gathering to showcase and interact with business
